Some journeys are destined to be short… but the memories of them last lifelong… just yesterday, one such journeys ended… it had started only about a week back though… we had a new member in our family… a two month old pup… and with him started our journey with lots of hope and zeal… soon we realized he was infected with a fatal virus to which he succumbed to in just a couple of days… this journey which started on an absolute exciting note… went through a very gloomy phase before ending painfully… I am not sure how much emotionally attached we were to him… or how much did he belong to us… but these few days with the pup made us realize how a small soul touched our lives briefly… with all its shades - innocence, courage, determination, helplessness – all together…
Well, we all are aboard multiple journeys in our life… wonder if any of them are everlasting… actually all these journeys are destined to end… sooner or later they reach their destination… but as long as they last, some journeys are gratifying, some are disturbing… some suck up all the energy, some bring in vibrancy and ardor… some journeys take your life away, while some journeys give you the very reason to live :-))
Am trying to live up the journeys that bring sunshine every morning… and with it bring a smile on me… a smile which gives me strength to stride through the not-so-easy journeys… am trying to relish the delightful journeys… however petite they are or seem to be… trying to touch as many lives on the way and get stirred myself in the process… because while the journey will end, the learnings and reminiscences will stay forever…
