Confessions of a 'Secretive' mind...
Everyone has a small cramped dark spot within, which houses their secrets… secrets that are in the form of some thoughts or events or experiences… at any given point in time, everyone has atleast one secret tucked within, that needs to remain hidden or concealed or not expressed… it is placed deep inside the soul…
A person who knows to keep secrets within is infamously labelled ‘deep’ or a recluse… On the other hand a person who knows not how to keep secrets is scandalously termed ‘shallow’ or gregarious… both sound like some personality disorders… but then more than the ability to keep secrets, a true personality or character is reflected by the persons affability… of being special enough to be allowed into someone else’s secret self…
But why be secretive? What are these secrets? These may be of two kinds as I had read somewhere... the kind one wants to keep within… and the kind that one doesn’t dare to let out… in both the cases, it may end up suffocating the person, may make the person alone inside…
For the deepest secrets hidden within, there is a deepest wish to have someone close to understand and feel them... to find someone to share the secrets and not feel alone inside… to let go the untold secrets and feel lighter… to allow someone into the secret self and brighten that dark spot within…
Yet, not every secret finds that worthy someone… not every secret gets out of the darkness… some secrets are meant to die with the death… and every single soul leaves the being with atleast one secret buried deep in forever…
