Kerala Kronikles... part 1... just the beginning...
Have been in kerala over this week (thrissur to be precise... a mini town called moonupedika to be ultra-precise!!!)... And this place can be described in many ways… “a road winding in between small and big houses… surrounded by coconut groves… lined by dimly lit tiny shops selling local provisions and delicacies... nendra chips (banana chips for the uninformed), jaggery halwa… whiff of the sea… sun setting, painting the sky in hues of orange and yellow…. mild breeze getting cooler with night setting in… a vast expanse of sky above you, with infinite constellation of stars”… makes one describe this place as Gods own country… yes it is indeed…
Its always fascinating to be travelling around the country-side and observing the distinctive ways of living there… but when you have to be part of this very way of life, it is an altogether unusual experience… so after winding up at work by about 6pm we have been discovering the ‘vivacity’ of this ‘sleepy’ town… here are some of our discoveries…

Spent some tranquil moments in the temple courtyard...

Looking forward to be back in civilization (read Mumbai...) over the weekend... But the mystique Kerala is not yet over for me... will be back next week to explore more, capture more, write more, post more... watch out for that more...
